Alone Together
During the Italy lockdown, we found ourselves in Raquira, A Colombian land that was once home to the Muisca natives. This indigenous group produced pottery, a practice and trade that has evolved over time, making this place the ceramics capital of Colombia. We saw the cultural abundancy of Ráquira as an opportunity to create a non-profit project that will reassess the concept of art and sculpture as a way of bringing people together in times of isolation, acknowledging that our species most outstanding work was developed during contexts in which conscious self-awareness and therefore inspiration was possible.
